1. Who We Are
PsyFate (psyfate.com, referred to as “we”, “us”, or “the Service”) is a self-exploration tool built on BaZi (Four Pillars), ZiWei DouShu (Purple Star Astrology), and systemic-psychology methodology. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
2. ⚠️ Nature of the Service (Important)
All destiny-analysis, psychological-work, and family-constellation report content produced by this Service is intended solely for personal exploration and entertainment, and does not constitute medical diagnosis, psychotherapy, legal advice, investment advice, or any other professional advice. If you have specific medical, psychological, legal, or financial needs, please consult a licensed professional.
3. Information We Collect
Account information: email address, login timestamps.
Chart-subject information: the name, gender, date/time of birth, and place of birth of you or another person (used solely for chart calculation). The chart subject may be you, a family member, a partner, a friend, or anyone whose information you are authorized to enter.
Conversation content: your conversation history with the AI destiny advisor, used to improve generation quality and maintain conversational continuity.
Payment information: purchase records and invoice information, processed by third-party payment platforms (Lemonsqueezy / Huipiaojiao 虎皮椒). We do not store complete bank card or WeChat Pay credentials.
Usage data: pages viewed, features clicked, device type, and IP address (used for regional routing and abuse prevention), processed by the Vercel platform.
4. How We Use Information
Used solely to: (1) calculate charts and generate AI analysis; (2) maintain your account and history; (3) improve the Service (aggregated analysis on de-identified data); (4) contact you regarding payment or account issues.
We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
5. How We Share Information
AI model providers: your chart data and AI conversation content are transmitted to large language model platforms such as DeepSeek and Anthropic Claude to generate reports. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies. Data we transmit is de-identified (it does not include your real name, email, or IP address).
Payment and data infrastructure: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Lemonsqueezy / Huipiaojiao 虎皮椒 (payments).
Legal requirements: we may disclose relevant information as legally required by mainland Chinese or overseas judicial authorities.
6. Protection of Minors
This Service is intended for adults aged 18 and older. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
Children under 13: we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have done so inadvertently, we will delete it immediately. Parents who become aware of this may contact us.
Minors aged 13–18: use under a guardian’s guidance is recommended. We will not push paid-upgrade prompts, subscriptions, or sensitive destiny content (relationship/wealth/health warnings, etc.) to minors.
The chart subject may be a minor (for example, entering a chart for your child): as the account holder, you are responsible for the information entered and confirm you have obtained the consent of the guardian(s) involved.
This Policy complies with the relevant provisions on the protection of minors under China’s Law on the Protection of Minors and the Personal Information Protection Law, and follows the spirit of GDPR-K (EU) and COPPA (US).
7. Data Security
Our database (Supabase Postgres) uses encrypted connections (TLS 1.3). Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. All LLM calls are made over HTTPS.
8. Data Retention
Account information is retained until you delete your account. Chart-subject and report data can be deleted by you at any time within the app. Once deleted, we permanently purge it from production databases within 30 days.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to: (1) access and obtain a copy of your personal information; (2) correct inaccurate information; (3) delete your account and all associated data; (4) withdraw consent (simply stop using the Service); (5) file a complaint.

10. Updates to This Policy
When this Policy is updated, we will post a notice in a prominent place on the website and notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
