BAZI × ZI WEI DOU SHU

Chinese birth-chart reading

Two distinct traditions. A fresh perspective on your patterns.

If you already know Western astrology, you don't need to replace it. PsyFate reads your birth details through two Chinese traditions—BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu—to offer another way to reflect on recurring themes and life phases.

They aren't translations of a Western natal chart, and they don't claim to prove it right. We explain how each tradition approaches a chart, then show where the readings meet or take different angles. You don't need prior knowledge of Chinese metaphysics. You decide what feels useful.

How it works
BaZi · Patterns through time
BaZi (Four Pillars) reads the relationships among your birth year, month, day, and hour through Chinese calendrical symbols and Five-Phase interactions. Unlike Western natal astrology, it doesn't use planets or zodiac signs to cast the chart.
Zi Wei Dou Shu · Life areas
Zi Wei Dou Shu arranges symbolic stars across twelve palaces, offering a structured way to explore themes such as relationships, work, and family. Its palaces aren't the same as Western astrological houses.
Read together · without flattening
We explain each tradition on its own terms, then compare their themes. Shared signals get context; differences stay visible instead of being forced into one answer.

What two lenses can—and can't—offer

BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu are distinct symbolic traditions. Reading both can add another perspective for self-reflection, but agreement isn't scientific validation or proof of a fixed future.

Shared themes invite reflection. Differences offer another angle.

PsyFate explains both charts in plain language and turns interpretations into questions you can consider. A reading is a starting point —not a verdict about who you are.

What you'll explore

Enter your birth time and place to explore three practical angles:

Recurring themes
Explore familiar tendencies through the symbols of each traditional chart.
Different areas of life
See how BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu each approach relationships, work, and changing life phases.
Questions for reflection
Turn an interpretation into something to consider—not a diagnosis or a fixed conclusion.

This is a cultural and self-reflection experience, not a psychological diagnosis.

What it doesn't do

  • —Doesn’t predict lifespan, disasters, or specific events
  • —Doesn’t replace psychological counseling or medical diagnosis
  • —Doesn’t slap on negative labels like “bad fate” or “clashes with family”
  • —Doesn’t manufacture anxiety or sell fear

It only helps you see yourself more clearly — where you go from there is your own decision.

In one line

Two Chinese traditions. Another way to explore your story.
